The second edition of the Valencia CF Innovation Hub programme for startups will see eight fledgling companies receive the opportunity to participate. The Innovation Programme will begin selection shortly, in collaboration with Startup Valencia.
The single-season scheme will begin in September, with the selected companies becoming part of the VCF ecosystem. They will be able to benefit from networking with the companies associated with the Business Club and Startup Valencia, receive advice and training from experts from each area, and will be able to have a workspace at Mestalla.
“The programme will allow startups to have the opportunity to learn how professional sports clubs work from within, and will see that it is an environment where there is currently great potential for innovation. Furthermore, they will contribute to the international positioning of the Valencian startup ecosystem, hand in hand with a global brand in Valencia CF,” says Juan Luis Hortelano, president of Startup Valencia.
The VCF Innovation Hub is at the forefront of innovation in the sports sector, and having these young entrepreneurs onboard will allow it to incorporate all that new innovative companies can contribute and improve in its key areas.
Solver, Atribus, Blinkfire, ImagineAR, Podoactiva, Dawako, Hyperloop UPV, Bcoach and Soccer Hub are the companies that participated in the first edition of the programme and which have had the opportunity to develop innovative projects in the VCF environment.
Registration for the programme is open through the club website until April 30th, 2021: https://www.valenciacf.com/es/club/vcf-innovation-hub/InnovationProgram
